Privacy policy
Your image is used to perform the OCR request.
This policy explains what happens when you upload a photo to Photo to Text Converter. The service is designed to collect as little information as practical for its core function.
Uploaded images
Your image is sent securely to Google Cloud Vision so its text can be recognized. This site does not add the uploaded file to a permanent image library or provide public access to it. Avoid uploading images containing sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information.
Extracted text
The recognized text is returned to your browser, where you can edit, copy, or download it. The downloadable TXT file is created through your browser. Review the result before using it because OCR may misread unclear characters.
Accounts and payments
The current service does not require registration, user accounts, or payment information. If those features are introduced later, this policy will be updated before they are used to collect additional information.
Technical data and third parties
Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request data, such as an IP address, browser type, timestamp, and requested URL, to deliver and protect the site. Google Cloud Vision processes uploaded image data for OCR. Each provider handles data under its own service and privacy terms.
